Brian Becker has worked in the construction field most of his life. He started  when he was a sophomore in high school in 1976; he worked in the field for the next seven years and opened and operated his own construction company in 1983 from a home office. In 1990 he became a general contractor when he partnered with his family and expanded the company into a family owned and operated business, Lakewood Companies.

In 2000 they built their present office in Arbor Vitae to accommodate design build services in Northern Wisconsin and Upper Michigan.  He employs his own field crew of four and an office staff of two.  He and his staff regularly attend Dwelling Contractor Certification courses and is fully licensed and insured.  

Lakewood Companies is a member of the National Association of Home Builders, Wisconsin Builder  Association, and the local Headwaters Builders Association.
